Out with the old and in with the new

Today we have been doing an argument about we need a new uniform for our new school or We dont want a school uniform for our school we should have a uniform. I picked we need a new school uniform for our new school so this is what I done.

Introduction Hook Mr Moriarty, It’s time to show who south hornby school really should be!!! What is the argument? I  believe that it’s time to go from  the old into the new because new school new start

Conclusion / Summary Overall I think that It’s not time to be old in a new school it’s time to be new and you. This should let us be free and make us feel new, if you got a new school wouldn’t you want a new uniform?

Mr Moriarty, It’s time to show who South Hornby School really should be, I believe it’s time to get out of the old and into the new, new school,new start, We could attract more families to come to this school because we would be the brights school.

Firstly, It’s time for a new beginning. I think that it’s time to show our true colors like what we are feeling everyday, and all the everyday problems should not be a problem. Our school should be the happiest school and most cleverest School in Hornby. Think about all of the new opportunities we could have with a new identity. That would be the most craziest thing. Wow!

Secondly, I think that it’s time to show the real South Hornby School. I think that maybe by a change of the uniform will just show who we really are and were meant to be. Some of us are kinda bored of the old uniform because it doesn't really show us or show that we are always in a positive mood. We can change the color too yellow or something like that.

Lastly, I think that we can attract these families by showing that we aren't old we are new and we respect our time and learning, We need to show it show that we are out of the old and in with the new, If we have a new school that means we need a new beginning So maybe you could change our school uniform to a new start.

Overall I think that It’s not time to be old in a new school it’s time to be new and you.

This should let us be free and make us feel new, if you got a new school wouldn’t you want a new uniform? So do you want a new uniform or stay in the old?

The Moon

This is what we have been doing  for up to 3-4 weeks learning about the Moon and System that works with the Moon!!!

Coordinates

Yesterday Mrs McLeod Introduced us to coordinates.Coordinates are on a grid and placed on the grid there are numbers going Horizontal across ways and vertical which is up ways. now Horizontal has a name it is called the X axis and vertical has a name to called Y axis. so you go down the hallway before you go up the stairs. Here is the slide of our work.

Arty Farty Gymnastic party

Over these past few days. Mr Breach's Calendar Statue/Cutting art group has been doing their art. We have been learning how to angle the photo. We had to take a photo of ourselves in a pose and then we cut out a silhouette. We glued this to our background and then colored in with big blocks of bright colored. I thought I could do a Gymnastic move because I am really into gymnastic art. It was tricky doing the pose and silhouette but at the end it's a great thanks to the teachers!!! I like my arty farty work especially the pose.

Writing sentences

In Writing we have been learning about sentences. I have learnt how to write a simple sentence and a compound sentence.  A sentence needs to have Capital letters, full stops, Nouns, and verbs. It must have nouns and verbs. A compound sentence is when you join two sentences together with the word "and". Can you tell me if mine sentences are good or i could do better or you can give me feedback!!!
