Antarctica Weather


This is my work about Antarctica's Weather. For the past 3 weeks we have been learning about Antarctica. We started by going to the Antarctic Centre. Then we started our literacy learning. Here is my work from the last 3 weeks

  • It is such a hostile environment, The hole of Antarctica is covered in 90% of the world’s snow
  • It is 14 million km in size
  • There is snow 4,897 meters above sea level.
Evaluation
Overall, I love the Idea of the weather the lad and ice and how things survive.

Frosty,Frigid, Marshmallow wonderland. What is Antarctica?Antarctica is a very large continent on earth out of 7. It is a very amazing but freezing content and I think that I would love to feel how cold it gets when it reaches the closest to the
hottest temperature, WOW.

Antarctica look’s like A big Freezing, white marshmallow. Antarctica has 90% of our snow. It is 14 million Km in size and There is snow 4,897 meters above sea level. Antarctica Is also a very hostile place Because of the Weather It looks like a big cold ice block do you know why? Because it is technically an ice block. Antarctica has different levels so It kinda looks like a squiggly line.

Since I haven't been to Antarctica I am going to guess that the weather can reach up to about -70. It feels so cold you can get frostbites anywhere and sometimes they may not be in the best place for your comfort. Oh Oh It may not be the best place to be especially in winter It is a non livable place. Antarctica is actually a desert


Overall, I love the Idea of the weather the land and ice and how things survive.I think The climate change is probably the one I mainly love learning about because it has the best topics to learn and things I have never ever known. Best topic EVER?

Evaluation
Overall. Cold love to find there easiest food to eat and go there. It look’s so warm but looks can deceive you

“Birrrr”Wait where am I Oh Antarctica Wow.Have you ever known the weather changes in Antarctica or the weather at all? Well let tell you about It…

The coldest temperature recorded in Antarctica’s south pole is -94.7C but that was a couple years ago though and this years coldest temperature in Antarctica’s south pole is -92.9C Wow that is so cold only because It goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 up to 50 degrees and then it goes -1, -2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -7, -8, -9, -10 and that can go up to -80 degrees Celsius. Coldness in Antarctica can give you severe frostbites ouch That Is a problem in Antarctica.

Now wind the wind is part of the weather and actually is the thing that makes it get colder and colder It may stay the same degrees but wind is fast and so it gets colder and colder just by the wind that Is how it gets up to a really really cold degree and makes it even colder. You wouldn’t think that the wind is part of the coldness is wind cause where we live we don’t have very strong wind that’s why you would not think that.

The changes in Antarctica are pretty amazing cause every part of Antarctica has different temperatures everyday you would think it’s just the same but it’s not... cause the south pole is in the middle of Antarctica so It gets the coldness from every part of Antarctica and the others only get there own temperature wow.

Overall I think It is freezing and I would love to find out what they eat and how easy it is to eat. It look’s so warm but looks can deceive you. Wow

My favorite part is when you said that Antarctica is actually a desert without sand. Next time you could check your punctuation and commas. I am really exited to see your up coming post's.
